TOY Security Considerations

TOY CHAIN is an Arbitrum Orbit chain, a Layer 3 solution purpose-built for the exciting world of web3 gaming. While we believe this technology holds immense potential, it's important to be aware of potential risks before diving in.

Code Security and Potential Bugs

TOY CHAIN relies on the Arbitrum protocol, developed by Offchain Labs. This software undergoes rigorous auditing and testing, but the possibility of undiscovered vulnerabilities can't be completely eliminated.

Smart Contract Risks: Scams and Bugs

TOY CHAIN is open to everyone, so anyone can create and launch their own smart contracts on it. This is great for new ideas, but it also means some contracts might be scams or have bugs. Be careful when using contracts from people you don't know, just like you would be careful with your money in the real world.

TOY Chain's Commitment to Security

Despite these inherent risks, TOY CHAIN is dedicated to providing a secure environment for its users. Here's how:

  • Early Stage Awareness: As a relatively new platform, TOY CHAIN and its ecosystem are still under development. This means there's a higher chance of encountering bugs compared to more mature blockchains. We are committed to continuous improvement and addressing any issues that arise promptly.

  • Combating Scams: While we cannot guarantee the security of every third-party contract, TOY CHAIN is actively developing tools and mechanisms to identify and address scams. Our ecosystem wallet will eventually have the capability to restrict interactions with known scam contracts, providing an additional layer of protection for users.

Reporting Bugs and Scams

Community involvement is crucial in maintaining a secure environment. If you encounter a bug or suspect a scam, please report it immediately through our official channels:

  • Discord: /LINK - TBD/

  • Website: https://playontoy.com/

By working together, we can create a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone on the TOY Chain.
