Anytrust

Adding another layer of innovation, TOY CHAIN utilizes a unique type of rollup called Anytrust. Anytrust differs from traditional optimistic rollups by relying on a Data Availability Committee (DAC). This committee, composed of a select group of trusted entities, is responsible for storing transaction data and ensuring its availability to anyone who needs it.

This approach offers two significant benefits for gaming:

  • Reduced Fees: By minimizing the amount of data stored on the Ethereum blockchain, Anytrust further lowers transaction costs, a crucial factor for games with frequent in-game actions.

  • Increased Speed: With a more streamlined approach to data availability, Anytrust enables faster transaction processing, resulting in a smoother and more responsive gaming experience.

However relying on DAC also introduces mild trust assumption in degree of centralization, as the DAC comprises a limited number of known entities. In essence, TOY CHAIN represents a powerful synergy of technologies – rollups, Arbitrum, Orbit Chains, and Anytrust – working in concert to create a high-performance, low-cost, and gamer-centric platform.
